Delray Holiday Parade 12/13

 

We’ll be capoeira-ing our way down the streets of Delray this Saturday. Will you? 
All students, ALL AGES are invited!!!
Adults, Kids and Teens, come out and show your holiday spirit with the Karkara family!

Please wear clean WHITE UNIFORMS and SNEAKERS.

We will parade down Atlantic Ave playing capoeira and making some music. Be ready for a great time!

If you’d like to ride in the van, your name must be on the sign up sheet at the desk. Meet at the academy by 4:45 PM this Saturday 12/13/14 to head downtown Delray.

Whether you are riding in the van, following us there or meeting us there, this is where we all must meet by 6:00 pm:

Atlantic Ave. will be closed after 4 pm so you must go up George Bush Blvd.
East over the George Bush Blvd. Bridge (8th St.) to A1A, Right on A1A to Atlantic Avenue, Right on Atlantic Ave. to assembly point.

FYI. We are assigned to  Division: D   Space:  13 – There will be 1 line along the south and 1 along the north side of Atlantic. We will be at the very end of the line on the north side of Atlantic.

Terminus Instructions
All participants must continue to the end of the parade route at NW 5th Ave. (Fire Station).

Parking
Map of public parking in the downtown area.
If you are picking up someone from the parade, please park at City Hall Parking lot to wait for them at the end of the parade.

We suggest you CARPOOL. Also, DROP OFF YOUR CHILD close to the meeting spot then park closer to NW 5th Ave where the parade will end so you don’t have to walk all the way back to A1A.Based on our location in the line, we will start walking at approximately 6:20 pm and it takes about 70-80 minutes to get to the end point at NW 5th Ave.
