8th Annual Kids Batizado & Tournament 2018

Registration is NOW OPEN for our BIGGEST KIDS EVENT OF THE YEAR! Our Capoeira Karkara Kids will change cords and compete in our annual tournament which is OPEN TO ALL OUTSIDE CAPOEIRA GROUPS! The deadline to register for the Tournament is Sept. 8. It’s going to be an amazing day of capoeira! We hope to see you all there! Save the date and register now!
 
The Batizado is a one-of-a-kind event and experience. Feel the energy of different students, professors and mestres coming together from our extended Karkara family, different groups and different places under one roof to share their passion for capoeira. It’s something you have to witness to understand the power of this event. 

BATIZADO/TOURNAMENT WEEKEND SCHEDULE

Fri. Sept. 28th from 5:30pm to 6:30pm @ The Academy

Batizado Kick Off Open Roda for all students & visitors

Sat. Sept. 29th from 10:00am to 2:30pm (Approx.) @ The Academy

10:00 am –  Performances

10:30 am – Cord Changing Ceremony (Batizado)

12:00 pm – Break

12:30 pm – Tournament
